PAULA FAN

Pianist PAULA FAN has performed on five continents, recorded over twenty albums, and has broadcast for the BBC, NPR-America, Radio Television China, and stations from Bosnia to Australia. She has taught at the University of Arizona as the only Regents’ Professor from the College of Fine Arts, and at the Eastman School of Music. She was Principal Keyboardist with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra for more than thirty seasons. Keen to build bridges between music and other disciplines, she co-founded the Solar Storytellers, a trio playing electric instruments powered by a golf cart with a rooftop solar panel, which performed on the National Mall in Washington DC. She now serves as Senior Fellow at the Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry at the University of Arizona and tours internationally as a pianist and lecturer.

Mae PAULA FAN wedi perfformio ar bum cyfandir, wedi recordio dros ugain o ddisgiau masnachol, ac wedi darlledu ar gyfer y BBC, NPR-America, Radio Television China, a gorsafoedd o Fosnia i Awstralia. Bu'n dysgu ym Mhrifysgol Arizona fel yr unig Athro Regent yng Ngholeg y Celfyddydau Cain, a hefyd yn yr Eastman School of Music. Roedd hi’n Brif Chwaraewr Allweddellau y Tucson Symphony Orchestras am dros ddeg tymor ar hugain. Yn awyddus i adeiladu pontydd rhwng cerddoriaeth a disgyblaethau eraill, roedd yn gydsylfaenydd Solar Storytellers, triawd sy’n chwarae offerynnau trydanol wedi eu pweru gan gerbyd golff gyda phanel solar ar ei do, gan roi perfformiadau ar y Rhodfa Genedlaethol yn Washington DC. Mae hi nawr yn Brif Gymrawd yn y Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry ym Mhrifysgol Arizona ac yn teithio’r byd fel pianydd a darlithwraig.
